Subject: A/C low/high pressure limits for 97 Dak?
IP: Logged

Message:
Does anyone know the pressure range the low and high side should be for the A/C? I recently recharged from vacuum and would like to verify everything is okay. While cycling, the low was 24-34 psi and the high was 75-115 psi. The ambient temp dropped to 52 F while I finally finished, so I don't know if this affects the values much.

Also, although I vacuumed out the system, I'm assuming the oil does not evaporate. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Yeah, looks like you underfilled it. How much did you put in?

Thanks Tazzy! Yeah its possible I underfilled it. I'll check when the temp is at least 70 F, I might be much closer at that temp. I put in two new .340 kg cans and one slightly used .340 kg. The label on the truck said to use 0.907 kg. So I should be close.

I did not add oil though...
