 Subject: intake question

I am looking for a cold air intake. I saw one at hughesengines.com specifically made for the 3.9. However, I also saw that many people go with a k&n intake, which wasn't specifically made for the 3.9. Does anyone know which creates more horsepower, and how hard it is to adjust the k&n to fit the 3.9? Thanks.

Well it depends what year truck we are talking about. The v8 kits for 97-99 definitely fit the v6 trucks. The only problem to watch for is if you have cruise control and it's mounted on the passenger side fender well. They make a model that relocates that also though.

I have a 2000 with cruise control. I'm not sure if it's mounted on the passenger side fender wall or not. Is the k&n a lot better then the hughesengines intake? Where can I find the thing that relocates the cruise?
