I have been looking at this fuel atomizer 2000
you guys were talking about

The injectors in the dodge trucks do help vaporize
the fuel and most of what they say is true about
raw liquid gas and how the o2 and computer system
would cut back fuel if the incoming charge did
have atomized gas in it the o2 would read it and
cut back injector pulse width

They also make a shrader valve kit with an elect
solenoid to hook to your fuel rail so people must
be using the system or why would they offer the
set up for fuel injection

Would it work? it is possible but I think I am
doing a good job getting 23 plus mpg on my 95 4X4
with all the bolt on mods and just a port match
intake that's not bad.

The best gas mileage I witnessed myself in a Dak
was 25.8 mpg and that was my truck completely stock
with around 20,000 miles coming back from
Milwaukee in 85 degree weather thought the gas
gauge quit working.

It never did it again or even came close to that 17 to 19
on the highway was the best, first long trip to Milwaukee
with only 200 miles on the truck it got 15mpg, I immediately
took it back to the dealer to check it out brand new truck
and my last 1993 V6 5 speed was pulling 20 new 22 mpg
after about 8,000 miles on the counter

Anyone have the guts to test this, if not in a few months I
will have some time and give it a shot

With today's gas prices and no relief in sight on those it
may be worth the try, I have a few hours to spare today
so I am going to set up a catcher jar and see just how much
solids it will collect in the PCV line

I know the PVI system does help, I averaged around 21
after the PVI install I am hitting better numbers depending
on how I drive last 4 checks
23.5
23.8
22.4 hot rodding and back roads
just yesterday 23 right on the button

http://www.doubleyourmiles.com/
aroud $165 with shipping for unit and shrader valve kit

Interesting that wyoming and doubleyourmiles are using the
exact same product shot. I wonder who really makes this
device?

I took a small jar drilled the end out of 2 old
PCV valves and made a sludge trap as they use just
to see how much solid waist goes back into the
motor

If there is a lot it would displace space that
could be carring air and fuel, only drove 10 miles
so far but there is some crap in it already lets
see how it looks at 100, catching this would lower
emissions and maybe help gas mileage.

The solids would attactch to the atomized air or
fuel and creat drops

HUMM let you khow what happens

We will see

I have had an in-line fuel filter on my pcv hose for about 12000 miles it does pick up some particles but not a huge amount. I am now at just over 141,000 miles and the truck really runs strong. I hope some one tries this atomizer but it may just be another Fish carburetor. I recall some years back seeing an article about some inventor that had come up with a large flat chamber to let the gasoline vaporize instead of using a carb. I guess there was some problems with it or the idea would still be around. It kinda looked like a fire hazard maybe thats why it wasn't practical.

sorry bob lincoln, that link is about the tornado and tb spacers.

i think the atomizer 2000 will work on the dodge,i have talked to someone who got 1 and gets 7 mpg more.

im going to order 1.

i have seen them for under $100

i drive 100 miles a day X 5 = 500 miles a week.
even if it gets 5-mpg better it will pay for itself in 10 weeks.

If you take the time to read the article, it's about *any* atomization scheme. It just mentions those as examples.

Let us know what happens. Carry a halon or CO2 extinguisher.

I drove the truck 100 miles and there is some
liquid waist in the jar. Went and filled the truck
to see if mileage changes from just taking out
the solids from the line 99 miles 4.2 gals was
23.5mpg only 25 miles with it on the last 75 was
after the fill but the guage looks good

Don't forget this is a 4X4 it weighs more and has
more drive train turning, front shaft and axles
in the front rear lots more drag

I just wonder if removing these solids and not
burning them in the cyl will help, good question
but I will find out

I also noticed some ping, may just be the hot
weather heat wave up here over 70 degrees

hmmm

Lets us know if it works for you, I may try it in
a few months

I would be low on oil

At 6000 mile change was still right on the full
mark, Amsoil org turbo 10w30 oil

has to be cumbustion waist blow by

stock 92 motor with all the bolt ons and port match around 100,000 truck has 96,000 on running
gear except the 10,000 I had the stroker and 3.91
in it
