if you gut the cat or remove it, it will confuse your last O2 sensor....look at speedtweaks....they have the Katbox that hooks up to that sensor and tricks it into thinking there is a cat.
if you have a true glasspack on your truck just wanted to let you know that it isn't the most effective muffler to get.....sixes really don't like straight through mufflers.

iffen all else is equal you will gain a whole 1.5 to 2 hp and loose 1-2 lb ft. torque by taken out the catverter. a lotta work for somthin that don't show up onna timeslip.
