Message: I am getting ready to gut the smog crap on my 87.
Does the purge system need to be hooked up? Does it detract from power? If I disconnect it should i get a venting gascap or just leave the existing one slightly open?
would a blower do any good? I could see putting one in where that plastic job feeds fresh air in from the grill.
What else is there and where can I buy it on the web?
