I was talking to my friend, he has a 2000 Mustang GT, and he's like my oly gearhead friend. I want to give my 3.9L enough power to take most neons/cavaliers/honda's, and he told me that if I cammed it, I would notice LOTS of gains...But I come on here and don't see anybody talking about cams. I don't know anything about it, or cars, but I am trying to learn, and improve my little dakota.
Will a cam work on a 2002 3.9L V6 4wd Manual dakota?
Will I get a lot of hp gain?
And if anybody knows where I can get one at, it'd be much appreciated.
I go to college and work construction during the summer, so I'm making bucha bucks right now and decided to upgrade my dak to have some fun.

go talk to the guys over at krcperformance.com, they offer camshafts for the 3.9. those guys know their stuff, and they know how to make magnum engines run like big dogs.

I want to spend around 500 with installation included....but I def want more power, If it's worth it, I'll go to 700. Which one would be best to buy?
