Message: Hi guys, I know this should be in the custom exterior board, but nobody posts there it seems.

I bought a kit to do my pedals and shifter head(walmart for 25 bucks), I have to drill the accelerator on there, because I can't get it to fit on with the little bolts, but that's no big deal. I am having a problem getting the shifter knob taken off...I tried turning, pulling and what not, and I don't really want to damage it just in case the new one doesn't fit, then I'll be driving around with just a steel piece.....so how do I get the shifter knob to come off without damaging it?

Message: its a manual tranny gearshift im guessing? there should be a little cap on there with the shift pattern, pretty sure you can pry that up and there should be a screw underneath, although im not sure, this is only from what ive heard.
