Remove the stock muffler, remove the intake restrictor in the intake hose, use a K&N filter, power shift at 5K RPMs.

port your tbi[remove the torque step down near the throttle plates]
multi-spark ignition
set your base timing to 12 degrees
dist cap and rotor with copper inserts
good quality plug wires
vortex muffler from carquest does help
[does,nt sound to bad either]
roller rockers [1.6] if you can,t find them for your v6ers,318 rockers up to 91 will work[you,ll need to cut the shafts back]
port your heads,and/or bigger valves 1.88 int,1.60
ext,
just a few things that can be done
