Would anyone else on here like to know who that jibba jabba moron is??? I know I would... Because he's completely wrong on anything he talks about!!! Actually cats are very important, that being which one you get... Because depending on your exhaust setup you must maintain pretty much a certain backpressure and get a cat that will filter whatever the state you live in requires to be filtered... Most newer style cats will work in nearly all states, but not all... Especially some of the higher flow performance cats...

The main thing above all is your backpressure and any hookups like some 4x4's have on them... TOO much backpressure and it'll bog it down too easily and cause valve problems... Not enough and not registering or working right and you'll wind up with a rich running motor... Fuel mileage will drop and you'll slowly burn your motor up... Actually the same principles as bad O2 sensors and so forth...

I'm not sure about the price of the cat your looking at, but the carsound cat which I'm using I think is only around $100 or you can get a universal type of cat for about the same price... Both will work on the V6ers pretty well... Hope I helped a little more...

Thanks Dan. That was the link, but didn't go through. I appreciate the info to those who helped. I do realize the 2.5" converter fits with the 2.5" pipe, but I thought I'd get some input from others who may had experience with particular cats and brand names before I went ahead and made a purchase. Thanks again.

I have a 2 wheel drive. Thanks
