anybody out there have a 231 t case they dont want? mine needs to be rebuilt, but i would rather just buy a new case. an off road shop said they would rebuild mine for 300+parts which i cant afford, so if anybody around detroit has one for sale, hopefully ill have the money soon. by the way, i have a 96 dak 4x4(obviously) with the ax15 tranny, im not sure about the splines. 88-96 are the same according to the book,
87 will work,you will have to shorten or lenghten
the shifter rod,also get the shifter for the 87
they bolt in and work fine[did one in a 91 dak]

would one off a jeep also work? ive seen some 231s off some 4 and 6 cyl jeeps, but some use the ax5 tranny,will they work on my truck? Thanks, Steve
