I have a 95 3.9L that dies once in a while.....It only does it when it is at an idle. It will idle for a while and then die just like you shut the key off. It will start back up after sitting for a few minutes. any suggestions?

Thanks but thats not it....Its been cleaned. It idles great, really smooth, just like it is supposed to. Then it will die just like you cut the key off. It will start right back up and idle great for a while....then die again. No spitting or sputtering....Just die

Yea....I get 17, 33, 32. The 32 has been there for a long time. The 33 is there because I pulled the relay out about a week ago while messing around under the hood and the 17 is there because I have a 185 degree stat in.

Should not have code 17 just because of a
180 therm.
Sounds as if maybe yours is bad ( stuck OPEN )
This may be causing computer to act up
with stall as result..

Im sure the EGR needs replaced on it but I dont think thats whats causing my problem. I cant believe the 180 degree stat would cause it to die either but I will take it out and replace it this weekend
Thanks
Buck
