Hey make sure that you talk to your exhaust guy before you do the swap. Sometimes depending on the engine size you can take away too much back preasure allowing the engine to not run at optimum performace. You might also kill your gas mileage. 3" exhaust will be fine if you are supercharging. Otherwise you will lose a little low end. I know I have 3" and am still saving for that charger.

How do you think it will be faster by going to a 3" system? Are you just putting on a 3" muffler or are you going 3" from the cat to the tailpipe too? I'm interested in seeing your time slips. Do you have one now so you know what you are currently running? What mods do you have?

im redoing the entire exhaust, putting headers on it and pipin 3 inch all the way back. mods are cai, v8 tb, ported intake manifold, 1.7rr, msd6a, alt/crank pulleys, 390's, fohms injectors, and the reason for the bigger exhaust....a 100 shot dont have any time slips yet
