Tag for future reference.

Sounds really interesting. Of course the person running this is trying to sell it, so only good points will be listed.

Hope this works as it is saying though.

The gas is atomized when its sprayed at high
presure through the injectors

Atomization is just the gas mixing with air.

But yes what they are trying to do does help
keeping the fuel colder does help

As to there unit selling for $149 and using air
to cool the fuel I doubt there would be much gain
on the dodge trucks

Some racers run there fuel through dry ice box
to keep it cold

cold fuel will cool the intake air and alow it to
carrie more fuel, cooling the cyls will make it
more volumetricly efficient

But where the injectors are located it will not
help manifold cooling, on a carbd or tb injection
set up it would help.

With the fuel rails located where they are they
stay hot so it would just heat back up

you may have the concept wrong larry.
the system taps into the fuel line, vapors gas and sends it through the intake manifold via the pvc line, telling the sensors to cut back on pressure to the injectors, thus saveing gas.

my question is could this cause a lean burn condition and fry the valves.

also do you think the other thing (engingionizer)the one that you put the things on your plug wires has a chance working?

I live in New York where gas prices are going up again. I decieded to buy one of these Fuel Saver 7000's to test for myself. I put it on my Dodge 1500 truck and it seriouly boosted my mileage by 3 mpg in town and about 5 on the road. I think you guys need to take a better look at this one.

I don't see how taking fuel from the line and mixing it with air and then puting it into the the intake where fuel and air are already mixing is going to save fuel. If you want better air/fuel mixture get a forced air intake and a tornado.

Just my oppinion

tornado? That seems silly also. If dodge knew a little piece of plastic would boost mpg numbers, they would of installed them at the factory for about $0.09 a piece, haha!

By injecting fuel into the PCV line the fuel PRESSURE will NOT be changed. Rather the fuel MIXTURE will be changed. The pressure to the injectors is constant, set by the pressure regulator.
If you want better atomization of fuel get better injectors.

Also, the Tornado is a waste of $. On another mailing list a guy who owned a shop with a dyno tested it. It actually hurt the performance.

If you mod and tune your truck well the gas
mileage will be there

I just got 22mpg in 0 to 30 degree weather with
my 95 4x4 and I have a lead foot LOL

The more timimg you can run the better crank
sensor mod and IAT relocate will help 1 colder
plug and a reg stant 195 will run 185 188 the
comp reading a colder engine temp will advance
timing also

As I almost all of my customers are also getting
20 to 25mpg some have hit 27 my best was 25.8 all
high way

There are the few who never take off unless to the
floor

fuel pressure 45 or better I run 50 psi in my
4x4 55 in my stroked motor any lower than 40
gas mileage will drop

o2
engine temp
IAT
these 3 must be looked at and working properly

If you want better atomization raise your fuel
pressure

I am running a holly pump in the tank with an
external reg set at 50psi

stock is removed

take a look at the fuel atomizer I may try one
of these setups myself

Heres something to ponder

This was on the speed channel just last week I can
not remember the racers name off hand

Pontiac fearo stock 24 25mpg

this guy set up a system that heated the gas had
a round wire brush under the carb spining at
like 40,000rpm all this to help atomize the gas
better with this system the car got 55 to 60mpg
and before he could patend the system the guy
passed away but this car is still on the road
today runnin and getting excellent mileage

burning atomized gas is more effecient that is
why all the new vehicles are running injectors
at high pressure to help the atomization better
power and mileage do you think someone just came
up with these new injection systems for fun
that is the reason why

If you can feed your motor more atomized fuel
yes the o2 will pick this up and trim back the
injectors more power and better fuel economy

This is why I will test this system that was
created by R C Davis I think is this guys name
he makes the atomizer 2000 but can not sell it
what you must do is join his auto club and for
$99 membership the atomizer is a gift not a
resale item for joining the club

Actually I do have a customer using this unit on
a 1994 ram 318 he was getting 17 18mpg with the
RC Davis setup he gets 25 to 27mpg I rode in
this truck 300 miles and he proved it to me that
it works

I will be trying this on my 95 4x4 when I get time
do some searching on the fuel atomizer or R C
Davis

There are also a lot of fakes out there his unit
has an american flag on the catch container that
is the way to tell your getting the true deal

I had experimented with just the catch on the
PCV hose just to see what it would get, it picked
up some thick gasy smelling liquid in the catch
jar not much this told me my motor was in good
shape and did not have much blow by

That is as far as I got with my own experimenting
when I ge back to it I will get the unit and
test it comes with everything except the hoses
and clamps and an on off sol that hooks to
the shrader valve, there is no srader on the
obd2 trucks so you would have to tee off the
line with a sol

I will probably be testing this in a few months
from now

Its just like the PVI Injector system which I run
on my truck it did help a little with power gas
mileage only 1 to 2mpg but it did help and is
still on my 4x4 pehaps that is why I get 22 24mpg
in the warm weather and just got 22 in 0 to 30
degree weather

One has to have his own mind and test these things
for themselfs

There are a lot of snake oil things out there
with big claims that are worthless but the PVI
did help on my truck and everyine else that tried
it after I told them about it claimed it also
worked for them 1 to 2mpg better mileage from
the PVI injector system

I may know why this works when I pulled the heads
there was virtualy no carbon anywhere in the
combustion chamber as normaly there would be
this means the air fuel could flow better that
may be the reason for the small increase in
power and gas mileage

I have the PVI systems on all my vehicles now

Heres another one to ponder
The local police force is installing the PVI
systems on all there new squad cars wonder why

That is who I thought it was but was not sure

Did you also catch the show about the one race
car smoky had someone bought it and when they
begain to restore it they could not beleave the
things that were done to this car

This man was a true inovater coming up with all
these ideas that most would think were crazy but
they worked this man was winning a lot of races

There is no doubt in my mind I will be trying
the RC Davis fuel atomizer in my 95 4x4 just
put fuel atomizer in the yahoo search engine
and you will find his site wyoming insterments
I have seen this same unit at other sites for
over $200, I wrote to RC Davis and the unit
the srader valve sol and shipping was only $99

If it does work and I think it will great if not
I am only out $100 but as I said I have a customer
that I helped put one on his 94 ram

About 2 months later he came back and told me of
the 25 to 27mpg so we went for a ride he filled
up in town we drove 300 miles round trip back to
the same station and filled up it was like 60
degrees out and dam it was like 26.5mpg

The only problem he was having was cold starts it
would run very rich because the o2 was not
operating while cold in open loop operation so
we went to the shop and put the srader valve
sol on a switch with a 1k resistor and a LED so
the LED would go on when the unit was switched
on to know it was on and remember to shut it of
when the truck was shut down

If a person left it on it woud load gas until the
pressure would drop to 0

After my post last night I decided to call him
today and see how it was going with this system
he said quote "this thing is still just amazing"

He also went on to say he has told many about it
but no one will beleave him or try the unit so
I told him I would order one and test it myself
on my 95 4x4 he was getting 17 18 now 25 27mpg
man if the percentage of increase is the same
with me getting 22 24mpg I would be over 30mpg
I think taking a gamble for $100 would be worth
it

Its 5am here I think if I get some time today I
will call RC and get one of these for myself to
try

Here is the address of the site that the system
we installed on the 94 ram

Wait a minute! What's wrong with this picture, Larry?

This RC Davis thingey atomizes the fuel. What is the injector going to spray? It's expecting liquid, so what is it going to do when it finds a gas instead of a liquid? I thought the whole purpose of fuel injection was to get the fuel atomized and directed to the right place and in the right amount. It would appear to me that the Davis atomizer would be supplanting the fuel injector.

???

hey moparman, check your o2 sensors if you can get hooked up to a scanner. even if its not throwing a code it can still send the wrong signals to the pcm. other then that, check air pressure, dragging brakes, alignment, etc.

Trucker, the fuel atomizer does not send the atomized fuel to the injectors. It sends it to the intake where the PCV hose would attach. The injectors will still receive liquid fuel and do their thing as normal, but they won't have to spray as much because of the atomized fuel that is compensating. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but after reading everything on this page and every page at the Wyoming Instruments site that is what I understand it to do.
