Nope... For a 97, you'll need a tb from a 96+ dak.

Yes it will fit your truck,just get a 93 v8 throttle cable.I just put a 97 v8 T/B on my
94 3.9...no problems...runs like hell!!There is
this big myth about the EGR,and that's all it is.

That "myth" is that you will have idle problems...and many people DO have them. Last I knew, that's not considered a myth.

Some trucks will experiance idle isues and some
won't,
