Ok, If you have a 87-96 kota with stock fog lights and you want them to come on whenever your key is in the "on" position, no matter whether your headlights/parking lights are on--here you go.

If you take the little plate under the steering colum off(the one that has the fogs switch on it) with the two mounting screws, you'll get to the fuses and ALL the wiring.

Look at the back of the fog switch and there will be a black wire, a purple wire and 2 purple/white wires coming off of it. The black is the ground for the light in the switch, the solid purple is the feed to the switch for the lights and the two Purple/white wires go strait down to the fogs. From what I have gatherd from my looking and searching, all the power going to the fogs run through the switch, no relay, nothing else, it's very basic.

Ok here goes, If you follow that solid purple wire up a few inches you'll see a small black(or maybe even red) bullet connector. If you give this wire power, it will turn the fogs on whenever you want. I got in the repair book and looked at the fuse schematics to find what came on only when the key was on (so I wouldnt leave them on on accident.) and what I found was the Power window slot. I didnt have power windows so this was good. I got a fuse, fuse tap, 10 inches of 16 gauge wire and one butt splice. I cut off the male part of the bullet connector, extended it with the wire and put it in the #2 fuse slot and it worked great.

Only comes on when the keys in the on position, doesnt need the the parking lights either.

I hope you all understand this, im kinda tired amd cant think right now.
