I bought 2 of the platinum vapor injection units and put one of them on my 98 cc Dak. I noticed no difference at first then after about 400 miles I took a 200 mile trip and averaged 22.1 mpg. before the best that I could get was 20.7 on the highway and between 18 and 19 in city driving. I will let you know how the city milege is now that I seem to be getting some benefit out of the unit. the manufactuer info says that it can take as long as 1800 miles before you get the full benefit of the pvi. I figured if Larry said it worked I would try it and it does work. With all my mods I knew something had to help my mileage.

Glad to see someone else tried it.

I have it on mine and 3 customers trucks and all
have noticed better gas mileage and a little
better low end.

It does take a while to work cleans your ports
and cyls out than you see the benifits. Burns
the waist gas in the cyl not the converter
giving you just a little more burn and raises
oct 3 to 5 points.

could be why I am getting 22 23 with my 95 4X4
with all the mods stock 92 motor, my stock 95
which is stroked now even with all the mods the
best was like 20

They do work, if you would have told Mike or Herb that
you heard from J&J Auto he would have given you
a better price
