truck won't start when you turn the key but you can go under the hood and press a relay and it will start. What do i need to replace or repair

ignition switch ?
neutral sensor switch (probably still on trans.)
maybe check wiring harness around that " relay "
that you press !

neutral safety switch controls the ground for the starter relay, so it's not that.
