In tank or on block ?
In tank should be same unit all years !
Where did you see this " breakdown "
and are you sure that is the problem ??
Could have wiring problem ?
Check harness between underhood fusebox and firewall - should see a " splice " of 3 or four wires - factory ' connector ' is poor...

If they list the 87-90 as TBI injection then yours will be the same, and yes, its in the tank.

Yes the '91 is TBI, same as the 1990. Headlighs in mine are a sealed beam, at some point in 1991 they went away from that but to my knowledge, the engine/fuel pump, TBI stuff is the same as the 1990 models.
