I want to install aftermarket speakers in my dakota and I don't have power windows, so does anyone know how to pull the handle to roll down the window off so I can get the panel out of the way? Thanks

There is a special tool for removing the handle.

The handle has a c-clip of sorts that holds it on if you push the panel in you might be able to see it. You may even be able to remove it. if you can get it off put the clip back in the handle before you put the handle back on it will slide over the stud and clip into place.

Its rather easy just take your time and be carefull.. first press in around the window crank and you will see the metal c-clip all you need is a piece of clothes hanger shapped like a hook or go to advanced auto and buy the $5.00 tool to remove it after the clip is off just pull it towards you.. After you do that take off the plastic cover where automatic windows would be. You will see a metal rod shaped like an L with a white plastic bushing under it. ***Use caution** and slowly move the rod up and out of the bushing then just take out the two phillips at the bottom of the door. finally there are like 2 torx screws one near the side view mirror u will see a hole and one behind the Panel you removed to detach the door lever? i think.. All you have to do is lift up on the door and then you will be able to access the speaker.

Hope this helps
