 Subject: v8 tb swap w/o cable idea?

Why don't just leave the stock v6 cable and put it against were it is suppost to mount on the v8 tb and just tack weld it on there. Will this work or not. Any questoins or comments will help.

It has a plastic end on the cable. The V8 cable is only $35 from your dealer.

A v8 tb from a 92/93 dakota will bolt up to any 96+ v6 with no cable change
