does it really matter where they are from? heck even jegs and summit sells them! you will have a bit more power all through the power band getting to the road , maybe 10 hp at top end or thereabouts.

i've never tried the pullies.. but have only heard good things about them.

but if you have like listening to music loud and have a big amp or what not, dont replace the alt. pulley.

also, i believe APS is the only person who makes em.. maybe someone else too... not sure. Who you buy from just depends on what kinda service you want.

Thanks intense...I also hear that if you want a lil more power out of this motor go with the crank pulley....but if you get crank and alt pulleys then your truck wont charge in bumper to bu,per traffic ...so is there a noticeable difference in the crank pulley or not...its $68 at truck[performance.com

6 rib will only make it cost less.

if you really want to make some improvement, get a belt that bypasses the a/c

well.. when i looked em up.. seven rib belts are more rare and cost a lot more.

My short belt i had on my 3.9 was like $45

just measure around without going to the a/c and check the length... then take that to an autoparts store.

If I recall, If you use bothe the crank pulley and the alternator pulley, You will need a 6 rib 725 (72.5 inches) and if you only run the crank pulley like I do, Then it is a 6 rib 750 (75 inches)

you will notice just the crank pulley change. i've had mine for a few months ('00 QC Sport 3.9 5 spd) no probs @ all. when you buy the pulley the instructions should give the correct belt number.

Take the big clutch fan off and get an elec fan
2400 to 2800 cfm on a good flexolite thermo
control.

Now most guys just do the crank pully but you can
do all 3 as long as you don't let the truck sit
and idle to long or stop and go traffic all day
long it will drain the batt, and be sure your batt
is up to snuff.

you can also go shorter and bypass A/C

Will you notice it YES really helps off idle and
low end power not turning the big fan and just
the crank pully is very noticeable improvement

I was talking to my dad and he said the way you can tell if there is a difference in power with a crank pulley mod is about the same is unplugging your alternator and with this...it should be about the same amount of power increase...but he also said with the just crank pulley it wont make much difference...thats why there are NO mopar performance underdrive pulleys...because there is no need and that a shift kit would be better i had to choose between the two....il let him see your post larry and see what he says...but if the ac isnt on then the belt has no real problem turning the ac with the clutch on cause it is off.
