let me start off by saying 1st, 'i'm very hard on my cars...'
...ok, my muffler broke at the inlet, and in the 2,000 miles it took me to fix it, my truck started to develope a miss/backfire when it warms up. so i finally get a 'dynomax' welded on and it really seems to give it a little more oomph in the seat-of-the-pants dyno, i also had a chrome tip put on at the time...looks great. but now my miss/backfire seems to be getting worse. it starts when i step on the gas, but only after the truck warms up. so i'm thinking tuneup time, since i have'nt done that in about 100k miles. actually the truck is an 02' w/135k miles on the clock, and everything still original (except for oil), TPS sensor, and tranny.
what i need to know is, what are all the things i need to due to tune it up, i.e. plugs, wires, cap, rotor, do i need a new oxy sensor...stuff like that. i'm also going to do a few of the mods from this site like cold air intake, tps mod, thermostat, regap plugs, etc, etc.
can you guys help me with a shopping list?

Napa MO26 and MO28 cap and rotor,
MSD 8.5 or 8mm tayler plug wires
Autolight AP5224 gap .045 on stock motor
If you add cold air bigger TB and 1.7 rollers or
a MSD 6a box and MSD coil try thr AP3923 some
trucks react good to the colder plug even when
stock
Read your plugs if tan stay the same heat range
if white drop to the AP3923
Your o2 may be good only way to tell is to watch
it with a scanner flip flop .1 to 1 volt when in
closed loop rich center lean, rich center lean
and just keep changing, at 135,000 I would replace
it.
