I want to get a cherry bomb muffler for my 97 dodge dakota 4x4 extended cab.....can anyone tell me what size inlet/outlet i will need and how long the muffler has to be.

2.5" in and out. as far a length, you can buy a piece of ss 2.5" exhaust pipe @ AZ or Pep boys to complete the job. that's what i did.

I had a cherry bomb on my Dak, it sounded horrible. Flowmaster 40 series sounded good. Dynomax sounds the best, thats what i have now.

what kinda dynomax muffler do u have on your truck. could you give me the part number and some sites where to find it? i would say that you are talking about a super turbo but i just need the part number... i would like one with dual 2.5 inch outlets...

It is a super turbo, i don't remember the part number but i picked up at Advance Auto Parts. They had it in stock in the little corner of the store with the performance parts.

Do they make the flowmaster or dynomax for an 89 dak? The flowmaster doesn`t come with headers though , does it?
