I've had my IAT installed for a month, and because it is winter, it's useless right now. BUT! I'm wondering if the installation was done correctly.
Is there ANY way I can tell it's working? Is it wise to flip the switch w/ the truck running, knowing it's cause a check engine light? That's the only way I know how. And if so, how do I fix the check engine light?!?!
Any help/suggestion would be GREATLY appreciated.

I don't know what to tell you to see if its working, but flipping the switch with the truck running doesn't hurt anything, at worst it just turns on the light. I have switched mine many times driving down the road and I don't even get the MIL light, so you still might not be able to tell.

I have an IAT adjuster on my dak ,according to Bernd,it's not as effective in winter or when outside temperatures are below 50 degrees.Works exellent in summer tho'.

I know, I just want to know if I have it wired correctly?
If I switch it on while idling, the check engine lite should come on. If it does, how do I correct that?

on speedtweaks, bernd says to get that light off caused by the AIT adjuster bein switched while the engine's runnin, just reset the pcm.....it tells you how to do that on the speedtweaks tips and tricks...
