hey blackdak,

interested in the nitrous, ehh? The only kit i know of is from Nitrous Express. It's a really good kit and comes with a variety of jetting (35,50,70,100,125,175,250),or at least mine did.

The 175 won't actually "blow" anything up but over time with the really high cylinder pressure and temps it will literally melt your stock pistons. The cure.....dont use 175 shot!

The manufacturer doesn't recommend higher than a 75 shot, which doesn't make any sense to me considering the 2.5 is also recommended for up to 75 and the V8 are recommended up to 150. It seems to me that the V6 should be in between the two.

Bernd use to use a 100 shot with a premium octane and a octane booster. He also had a timing retard do-hicky that he used to retard the timing 4 degrees. He told me that he used it frequently and did monthly compression checks and has not found anything bad.

The install does take a little knowledge but can be done by a novice. Just be carefull to check every fitting and make sure you have enough thread sealant on all of the high pressure fittings! When i first installed mine, i did a pressure test by opening the bottle and everyone leaked. Just took it all apart and added more teflon based sealant.

If you really don't know much about it, i wouldn't try to install it. places around here install them for around $100.

hope this helps,
