I have an 2002 Dakota, V-6, and it started to cut out and run like crap today. The check engine light came on and I pulled a code P0152 from the computer. I looked up the code, came up with "2/1 02 Sensor Shorted To Voltage Oxygen sensor input voltage sustained above normal operating range". Any ideas what might cure the problem? The truck has 30800 miles on it.
After parking and restarting, it seemed fine, but the light stayed on. It's happened before recently, but the check engine light never came on and it never supplied a computer code.

Yes replace the upstream o2 sensor it controls
the air fuel ratio

between motor and cat

O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

I would first clean the elect connection and see
if that cures the problem, wet or shorted.

30,000 is unusual to have the sensor go bad but
does happen

Radio Shack can of contact cleaner spray

Autozone, Dielectric grease and fill the plug
this will keep any mosture or dirt from entering

How many O2 sensors are there on a V-6? I found 2 up front, on the Y-part of the exhaust pipe. Also, what are the small expanded sections of pipe they screw into? They look like small cat converters, but there is a regular sized cat converter in the main exhaust. Since they don't have any aftermarket service manuals on these trucks yet, it's hard to get info.
