 Subject: Sloppy Steering wheel

Does anyone know if the steering box has an adjustment for taking out the play in the steering wheel? The wheel can be moved about 15 degrees in either direction before turning the wheels. Other than that, steering and suspension are tight. '96, 3.9, 113,000 miles.

Not sure..But Is'nt your steering Rack& pinion.
If so I'd check your tie-rod ends for play..
