I've got an 87 Dakota, however, there seems to be some problems w/ the radio, for somereason the radio that was in it before, was alright, but appeared to be dying (for it was an old aftermarket deck). After pulling it out and hooking another one up correctly. The next deck didn't work either for some apparent reason. The original harness still intact, I tried an Old Factory deck and all I could get was the Jarbled numbers and whatnot on the clock. Anyone had the same issue before, if so what would be the cure, Because the wiring seems alright, as well as the fuse is still good in it.

theres two hot wires-one is for the memory, LED -hot all
the time,the other for the radio hot when the keys on
so theres two fuses,one of these fuses work the cig lighter,radio and maybe the dome light or horn
i don,t remember for sure,the light or horn
or you may have another bad radio
