Turbo you have to fab your own none set up for
the V6

Here's the ones to shoot for

do the crank sensor mod for the timing if it pings
drop to some colder plugs and a good 180 themo and
get your plugs at optimum temp, you need to adjust
the gap, I have been having very good luck with
the Autolite AP5224 in stock trucks But once you
do the intake side getting a bigger charge the
AP 3923 work well both plugs gap .045 some .040
they will run a nice tan color (stock IGN)

You need to get your plugs what ever brand you
want to run but they need to be at optimum temp
running tan than the comp can adjust the air fuel
ratio a lot better and you will see performance
and fuel economy gains.

I know this takes some time and all trucks react
diff but well worth the time it takes keeping
the air fuel ratio steady it will run a lot better
to hot or to cold not good White hot black cold
they need to be tan or there not right for the
motor

Be sure your upstream o2 older just the o2 is in good
working order before you even attemt to tune the plug
temp in, a bad o2 is bad news

You can change the plug temp about 70 degrees up or
down with the gap .015 up on most changing a range
will change temps 170 degrees this is small tolerance
but at least the stock plugs and settings get you close
just fine tune from there until you get a tan color plug

This is the first step to a great running motor stock or
modded and a step most just overlook and that's a
big mistake this needs to be done and changes with
more mods will also effect this temp and need to be
tuned in so the computer can do its job better

It makes a big differance

Bigger TB

V8 econo way to go works good $100 $150

Fastman better, moded stock body 46mm $250

F&B best way made from billit Alm new body 48mm
$380 $400

With the fastman and the F&B you also get some
nice noticeable low end gains very little diff
between them both have very noticeable gains
on the V6 motors all the way to redline

1.7 rockers, I think I am going to try a set of
the harlands I like the alignment system pined
2 together, and the square rigid design in this
stock motor I am running.

Now you should add the headers after the intake
side is done, JBA's a good highflow cat like a
carsound, dynomax, flowmaster and a single tail
still give the best resaults, 2.5 seams to be a
magic number on the V6's they show more gain
over bigger systems and help the low end a lot

Now a good 180 degree themo
super stat
robertshaw
jet low temo therm also works very well
The MSD systems need the cooler temps

MSD 6a MSD Blaster coil Autolite AP 3923 plat
tip gaped at .060 and a good set of wires will
wake this up a good 10 hp

This will run best in most trucks on mid range fuel

At this point a good set of FMS Bosch injectors will
bring in about 5 hp in the mid and top end and give
you a overall smother running motor being matched
closer in flow rates than the stock injectors and will
also help fuel economy on most trucks

Work on that order, once they all come together
these thing all work very well together and the
performance increase and fuel economy if you can
keep your foot out of it they get real good gas
mileage my 4X4 with these mods stock comp jet 2
is pulling over 20mpg in 30 to 40 degree weather
stock 92 V6 motor in my 95 right now. Stroker
to return soon

98 and up the super chips

The jet stage 2 chips in my opinion offer very
little in performance gains but for some reason
on almost all trucks do show gas mileage
improvements from 2 to 3 mpg gains and that is
the only reason I bought 1 was for the mileage
increase and it worked. I had it for many years
now

There is a small microprocessor in the jet chip
that is supposed to monitor the air fuel ratio
closer, point to point, I think that would explain
the gas mileage increase they give on most trucks
