I recently put in a 180 t-stat and relocated my iat. These two changes seemed to make all my other mods work better than before. My seat of pants dyno says it has more power and I just got back from a 355 mile trip and averaged 21.8 mpg. so now I am a happy camper. So now I am trying to decide whater to get an electric fan or headers. I have modits and trompits and need to get something to cure it.

there's no cure for trompitus, (except maybe speeding tickets LOL) its a progressive disease linked with moditus.

Even speeding tickets don't cure it...they just help hide the symptoms (kind of like those herpes medications...lol). I should know... when I turned 17 I'd gotten my license 11 months earlier and spent 6 of em on license suspensions due to speeding tickets. =P Now I can't get another ticket til I turn 18 or I lose it for a minimum of 1 year. So I bought a radar detector and I don't tromp it unless I'm on an empty backroad where I can see anything for quite a distance. That and I don't tromp it nearly as often.

At this point having the intake done the headers
will help 5 to 15 hp

An elec fan will help the gas milege 1 to 2 mpg
and off idle and low end power.

with the intake side done the colder 3923 plugs
run great

Thanks Larry.
I have been real happy with my ap3923 plugs they have run great ever since I put them in. I just turned over 137,000 trouble free miles and the truck runs great I am hoping for at least 300000 with out too many problems. I just bought a factory service manual and probably will need it to make it to that many miles. I had a '75 VW rabbit that I ran 255,000 miles before I gave up on it. I had to drive it all week to work and work on it every weekend to keep it going. At the time I was commuting 70 miles per day. I am hoping the Dakota never gets to that point.
