i wrecked my 93 dodge dakota a few weeks ago in the rain. My truck looks about like ross'. hidroplained in to a 1 ton Dodge dooly. i was curious if anyone new if the 87 model front end clip would fit on my 93 truck. a guy at a local juck yard is willing to let the front end clip of the 87 go for $200 if it fits it will be well worth it. please email me if you have any ideas.

If its any help, I purchased a parts list for my 88 off ebay. It's accual pages from a parts list book that is used at body shops etc. Most of the front end parts list 87 thru 90 and 91 thru 96. There are a few things like the front bumper & some components that list 87-96. If you tell me what exactly you would like me to look up for you, I can.

It will fit. However, if you've got a V8, you'll have to go to an electric fan because of the shorter snout on the '87.

I agree with b1llyw, I have an 87 that I did a complete 92 swap on, using my existing parts, and ording the new grille from the 92. My body man had to weld some brackets with for some of the wholes for the 92, but everything else fit fine. The bumpers and fenders are the same, and the hoods are the same as well, just the grille's mounting positions are a little different. It should be fairly easy to do. Let us know how it all works out for you.
