sted on here about a month ago or so about my sensor going out. Well I went to the deal and got a Mopar sensor and it did the same thing yesterday as it was with the other sensor. It went about a month without doing it but it did it again. The odometer says "no bus" - what does this mean? Could it be something other than the sensor? I was told maybe the PCM, how long is the PCM covered under warranty?

Thank for the help in advance!!

Josh

What year was this truck,

The first thing to do is check all the conections
if you go to radio shack you can get a can of
contact cleaner and spray both sides of the plugs
than either let dry for half hour or blow with
compresed air than plug them back in.

PCM's do fail but not to often

Also check and clean your batt cables and all the
grounds, there is a ground strap on the back of
the motor that goes to the fire wall be sure you
check that ground strap

Its a 99 CC 3.9L. I had check the connections yesterday when it died like it did. I unplugged the sensor and then plugged back in and made sure it was in good. I will check the ground connnections tomorrow if I get a chance when I get back home.

Someone on here on another post said that the "no bus" meant bad PCM. I don't know though. I am going to try to call the dealer tomorrow to ask what this code means. And we all know how fun the dealers are to mess with.

Thanks Larry
