1990 dakota sport 3spd with o/d sat for 8 months till we could get a rearend in it and put one in i believe it is the same gearing and such just didnt have the anti lock brake on it. so when it was installed the tb was in need of cleaning so fixed that and now it will feel like the rev limiter kicks in at like 3000. will also do it when i take off in Drive and get on it will continue to do so until you back off. please help.

well im not larry but it sure sounds like the tv cable may be out of adjustment

If its dying off at 3000rpm sounds like a fuel
or IGN prob
on the 90 TB injection fuel presure should be
13 to 15 pounds, or just a pluged fuel filter
