Hello all, I have a '97 RC V6 5Sp 2X4. I want to give it a little bit of a drop, and better cornering ability. The problem is that I live in Indiana, and the winters here prevent me from slamming it, not sure if I'd want to anyway. The problem is all lowering kits are like 3 or more, and I just want a little difference, like on the R/T which is like a 1.5 drop. My question is this: With the weight difference of the motors, would a stock R/T suspension still let the front end drop enough to not let the rear be lower than the front? If anyone out there has any knowledge, I'd appreciate it. Aaron

hey, u have a pic or ur truck? there must b a ton of wheel gap with those 275/40's, and no drop? imo i would go with the ebay drop from suspention max. u can go a 2/4 or a3/4 for 275 not a bad price

Ya, It looks a little goofy in the summer, but I run 235/75/15's in the winter, and it looks a lot better. I just wanted the width, and at the time Daytona ZR's didn't have anything taller w/ a 275. Anyway, still didn't answer my question about if I buy a stock R/T suspension, will my lighter motor not sink the front end as much. Also, whitedakota2, All I saw on that link was for the front. Thanks though, Aaron

i dont think u would get the full 1 1/2 drop out of it. the springs are set up to drop when they have a lets say a 350 lb motor put on thrn, so when there on a motor that only weigh like 275 of course your not goin t get the ful drop, atleast thats the way im lookin at it

See, that's what I'm thinking as well, but when you consider the rake of the truck anyway, I didn't know if it would level it off on a v6... Thanks for your answers though. Aaron
