99 Dodge Dakota V6..was over heating, saw that the water pump was spittin out coolant real bad. Replaced water pump, holds coolant now but it's still over heating. Anyone got any ideas?

Thermostat could be stcuk open or unless
something really freaky messed up check the
temperature sending unit!

Uh, it wouldn't overheat if the t-stat was stuck open. The temp sending unit wouldn't make it overheat either.

Thermostat was stuck closed. Took it out and soaked it in vinegar. Put'er back in and she's workin' beautifully. Thank ya gentlemen
