I know this sounds familiar, but I did a search and couldn't find mod vs mod comparisons.
I have a 1992 Dodge Dakota 3.9 and want bang-for-the-buck mods. Like everyone else :)
I put a V8 throttle body, K&N filter in place of stock, and a Magnaflow muffler.
The throttle body made a good improvement.
Are the following worth it and what kind of gain can I expect (realistically)...
Electric Fan
Larger Injectors (19lb Ford)
Homebrew with newer Airhat
Roller rockers (?)
Jet Performance Module
Ignition upgrade

Rockers and Ignition upgrades (if done right) are great mods per dollar.
injectors are probably the worst

what intense said, the jet sucks u get get almost the same imporvment fro mthe crank sensor mod and relocating ur ait, i would do the efan with pulleys later on when u have cash to burn, same thing with the 19 lb injecotors. from the 1.7 roller rockers and a msd6a w/ blaster ss set up u can look to gain about 8-10 hp (realisticly) thats just my guess. why not do the homebrew anyways? the filter is the only expensive part

wild check check out this site...www.car-parts.com u can find alot of v8 bodies on there, 5.2 or 5.9 it does not make a diffrence. if ur truck is a 97-up get a 97 and up body, 96 and under get a 96 and under 1

Its actually car-part (no "S") but I noticed they bought car-parts and it redirects you to car-part, wasnt always that way.
I have to add some info now that wildbill is also on this thread.
You guys that have 94 and older 3.9's do not need a throttle cable unlike what some will say. If you use a V8 TB from a 94 or older its a direct bolt on except for 92 and early 93's where a bit of material needs to be ground off the bottom of the throttle lever to clear the upper return fuel rail.
