I can't believe it... I just got a fabulous deal on some 17" Boyd Coddington Smoothies, my all-time favorite rim. It will take 2 months, hopefully I can have them in time for the good weather. (Hopefully I can afford tires!!! - ah well, who needs groceries)

hey lesley, those diamond corners that you have....i was wondering if there was a big difference between the lense on those, and those on the headlights....i'm going to order those or just the regular clears.......whichever matches the pattern of the headlights best....thanx....

No, the pattern looks good. Mr. Taillight.com, however, are a bunch of di@kheads. They keep sending me non-paying bidder notices... HELLO!! I have the item already! How on earth did it get to me without the return address provided with the money order.

LOL!! Yeah, I am taking myself to the National Auto Show for Valentine's Day (I get to go on media day, sometimes I LOVE my job). I plan to fall in love... with the Viper Ram.

That's my nephew Lucas, he is truck crazy! We are going to Moparfest together this summer. He helped me test drive my dak (he was only 3 then!!) and I gave him an Anson 1:18 die cast for Xmas. I think we will see him on these forums some day!! I visited them a while ago, and the roads were real bad. I went out to my truck, and he had taped a little home-made "4x4" decal on my tail gate, to help me get home safely.

We do have Taco Bell way up here in the wilds of Canada. In an extreme display of good taste, someone burnt the local one down last week. As far as my dak goes, foul exhaust usually results in amputation of the offending part.

Lesley, make sure you have vehicle security with your truck (alarm, club, etc.). It wasn't until I completed all my exterior mods and did not have time to fully enjoy them when my pride and joy was stolen from me. Rims and tires (1700.00 canadian)gone, and I wish today I had an alarm and other security first. Just somthing to consider while you enjoy your new rims on your truck.

Thanks Allen, that is such a huge fear. Sorry to hear about your loss. I think these rims will only be on the truck for the nice weather. A security system and locking lug nuts are definitely on the agenda. Thanks.
