the superchargers are not really worth the cash for the 3.9 u will be very dissapointed with the performence u would gain from getting one. if your looking for speed just when u race, a nitrous setup would be a better choice. but paxton makes a blower, all the ones that are availiable for the 5.2/5.9 will fit our trucks will a little midication. nothing crazy but just little stupid things. but its really not worth it! not 1 bit maybe if it were 1k then it would b worth it? ur choice

yeah... nitrous is a lot better. I had a s/c on my sixer... i took it off and gave it back before i paid for it.

You said you put one on, just wondering what kind of modifications need to be done? I was given a Procharger and was thinking of trying to fit it on the 3.9. Also, you said the gains aren't worth it, what kind of power gains will a 3.9 get?

i had the powerdyne and had to cut the intake tube a little shorter between the s/c and the air hat. Also, i had to beat in the fender well a little to keep the s/c from rubbing it.
Gains were very minimal... slight high rpm reving and that was it.

Well mine is a 93. The intake isnt the same as the GenIII. Minimal gain is no good, maybe i'll just sell the procharger on ebay

yeah, not sure how well the s/c would clear your inner fenderwell.
i would sell it and buy a nitrous kit... and have some cash left over for gears or something.
