here your chevy guy just laughing at that so called sport truck 5.9 runing mid 15 sad my 4.3 is not far behind see I dont race 3.9 becase THEY ARE SLOW I havent found one that I cant beat I am now going after r/t after a few mods I really put that truck to rest

BUT REMEMBER THE LIGHT HAD THE RECORD FIRST, SECOND THE SRT 10 IS A V-10. THE NEW LIGHT WILL KICK THE SRT 10'S ASS AND WILL DO IT WITH 2 LESS CYLINDERS GARUNTEED SON!! IT ONLY BROKE THE RECORD BY 7 MPH AND THATS WITH 2 MORE CYLINDERS. I'D LIKE TO SEE DODGE PUT OUT 500 HP IN A V-8 AND BREAKE A RECORD, YEAH RIGHT HAHAHA. IF FORD PUT OUT A V-10 IN A TRUCK IT WOULD SMOKE THE SRT-10 AND PROBALY PUT OUT MORE THAN 500 HP. NOT ONLY THE NEW LIGHT LOOKS BETTER THAN THE SRT-10 IT WILL SELL MORE THAN THE SRT-10, AGAIN WITH A GAURENTEE CHUFF. DODGE KNEW THAT IF IT WANTED TO BEAT THE LIGHT IT OBVOISLY COULD NOT DO IT WITH A V-8 SO THEY HAD A BRIGHT IDEA, NOT REALLY, LETS PUT A VIPER ENGIN IN THE RAM AND WE WILL WIN. Naw sheeeit...how else would the SRT-10 have beaten it? Somebody's gotta hold the record in order for somebody else to top it...duh.

Ford hasn't had anything performance in a long time...and don't give me any mustang crap because everyone knows that mustangs are overrated low price low quality excuse for a sports car...sure the Lightning is fast, Dodge went faster, bigger engine it happens...I bet if Ford made a 10 cylinder then it would have 500hp too, but they don't...Ford's answer to everything...super charge it. Slap a supercharger on the 8.3L powerhouse and see what it does. And really I could care less about trucks that can run 150mph+, last time I checked out on the farm I didn't need a fast truck with a nice paint job...

I see you guys fighting over Ford, Chevy, and Dodge.
I want to say that I may not be much of a Chevy or Ford fan but they still have their qualities.
I am here because I love Dodge.
I love the way they look and feel.
I love screaming down the street, flying through the gears, blasting my system with a grin on my face and my DODGE Dakota gives that to me in one of the best ways.
You see if it makes you tingle inside kinda like your first kiss then you know something is right.

Yeah. Ford's have to put a supercharger on everything just to make them fast. Bunch of pussies if you ask me. The smartest thing Ford ever did was circle the problem. I'd still rather have a Viper rather than even the new Ford GT 40. The Viper has just as much balls and $70,000 cheaper too.

When I said "in awhile" I meant a few years, last time I checked '88 was like 16 years ago, I think that constitutes "in awhile" As for the '03 Mustang Cobra...Ford starts putting some money into the Mustang and it starts to get a little performance, Ford doesn't put money into a Mustang it becomes a V6, pretty soon they will just make it FWD. Sorry if I offended you or something by my generalization, not everything always falls under one statement, but then again I think you see more V6 mustangs than the mustang cobras.

I like my dad's 03' Mach 1... I've ridden in it twice and both times it put a big ole sh*t-faced grin on my face. But I do agree, Mustangs do not deserve to have V6's in em. Only reason my dad didn't get the 03' Cobra was cuz the only one he could find was red and he knew it'd cost him a sh*tload in speeding tickets and insurance rate hikes. I dunno though...I've never been a big Ford fan, but I've always loved Mustangs, especially for the cost. Just my opinion...I'm sure most of you wanna lynch me for saying that.

REALLY!?!?!? Now lets take a second too
think about this through.....hmmmm can you
say HEMI! If DODGE really wanted to go out
with an extremely fast truck....they would put a
hemi into it......ok done! Now if they
supercharged it....like FORD....ok done! And
Now they put an Intercooler on i....i can see
that....I am pretty definitely sure with moddified
valvetrain and drivetrain they could put the new
lightning down in so many categories!!!!!! But
the bright IDEA was to use an engine they
already had! I am sure if Dodge wanted to
have an extremely bright idea like mine it was
though of and probably too expensive and
then who would buy it....The new L is going to
be too dam expensive and alot uglier in my
opinion my IDEA would RAPE your Idea and
put downa alot more ponies!!!!
