I have an 88 dakota 3.9 3spd auto with 255k miles and I am tuning it up one last time. It runs great but is getting its transplant in april. Larry can you give me any info on what will be needed when i put the 318 in it. I know the tranny is needed and rear end. I know in 89 the shelby had the 318 so what tranny did they use in them and will a 727 be fine. The motor is sitting on stand waiting till i get some vacation time to put it in. So now 4000 dollars later i have that 480 hp motor ready to be dropped in.

are you running carbed or multiport 88 was TBI
