to any of u guys who have the dynomax superturbo on your truck, how does it sound? i mean does it sound stock on the outside or can u tell theres a muffler on it? the flowmasters sound to importish for me. thanks

I believe that Larry from J and J is the dynomax expert. I have been using flowmaster, and have been satisfied with the results.

I have had my Dynomax for about 5 months and have been very pleased with it. it has a good sound and does't have a droning sound on the freeway.
at idle it is a little lounder than stock.
Home brew cold air with K&N,Dynomax, Superchip Tuner, 1.7 RR,, F&B tb. NAPA cap and rotor, 3923 plugs

Dynomax 17748 2.5 in out this has an overall
length of 25 1/2" don't get a short one they
hum to much.
The dynomax and the flowmaster 50 are almost
identical in sound with the flowmaster being just
a little deeper.
Just a little louder than stock over 2000rpm you
can hear them rap and a deep tone at idle while
cruising they are quite in the cab, either one is
a very good choice
The 40 series is louder if you like loud but I
like a quite cab so I can blast my tunes while
I cruse

I got the Dyno it sounds good no humm on the freeway the flow master cost about 100$ more not worth it it won't have that v8 sound I talked to someone who works at flowmaster and he told me that thety have proublems getting that nice rumble sound out of v6's anad 4 bangers
