Took my nice 2000 Dakota off-roading today only to hit a 8" stream at which time it stalled! Finally got it started, got to another mud hole went throught it got wet and you guess it Stalled. Finally got it running went home sprayed it with a hose from the underneath and sure as sh@t it stalled. What is up with that? It seemed every time I got the electric fan wet the truck would stall. Anyone have a clue why this does this? PLEASE HELP before I get pissed and sell this thing!

How's it stalling? Like, immediate cut-off or rough idle it-wants-to-run stall? 0_o

Sounds like you've got a loose connection somewhere, and water is shorting the ignition out or somesuch.

I wasn't going fast at all. When it stalls it shuts right off. I brought it home and sprayed the electric fan it stalled again. I un hooked the fan and it still did it. I'm going to say that it is something shorting out in the front somewhere but I have no idea where. I sprayed the computer and it stayed running! I have no clue so I'll be removing the chip and taking back to the dealer. It only has 14,000 niles so I have alot of warranty left. Thanks for you help.
