I had a 2001 SLT V6 Auto that would chirp the tires just like you are describing. My 4.7L on the other hand won't. I contributed it to the skinny little 215/75/15's that were on my 2001 v6 versus the 265/65/16's that were on my 2002 v8.

If I hit it over half throttle mine will chirp
2nd every time.

Just means your truck is running good being able
to do that.

Try a 440 mag in a 70 cuda totel manual shift auto
it will chirp second and 3rd very easy

Its nice to make those S 10's look bad hey

After seeing the readout from the scan your dad
did for you I can say everything on your truck is
just were it needs to be and should be running
at its best.

Did you ever mesure your stock body I think you
may have a 46mm with a 44 step on your 94, I had
a 94 Dak Sport with a 5 speed and it had the 46mm
throttle body that may be why you did hot notice
any change with the V8 body

All you need to do is remove that torque step and
you will have a true 46mm just like the fastman
sells it will improve off idle and low end
