There is much that can be done to a V6 3.9 Magnum motor, and in some cases depending upon the modifications done can yield better performance gains percentage-wise than a V8. The best source for 3.9 Magnum parts and information is www.hughesengines.com. Dave Hughes is one of the best sources for any form of Chrysler performance related material and parts. I've got a '94 Dakota w/a V6 that runs flat 14s, high 13s in the quarter mile and it remains a relatively docile vehicle. It does have a supercharger with minimal boost, but even without the blower on it, it was still capable of high 14s in the quarter with a relatively mild cam. Check it out, he has a tech article devoted to V6 modifications.

You might want to do a search, at top of page. There's lots of great info on that subject in the archives. Try something like, v6 add ons or to that nature. I turned up lots of stuff that way.
Hope this helps!
