Aloha dudes and duddettes,
I was wondering if these gears

would fit my 2000 Dodge Dakota V6 3.9L, 42RE trans, 3.55 no posi gears? If not then what should i do to up my gearing? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Looks like there for a 9.25 rear end...
I believe the V-6ers are a 8.25 rear end..
Look at the lable in glove box.or on the axle..
It will tell you what size rear you got

I far as I know, only the R/T have the larger axles. The rest of the late model Dak's have the Chry 8.25.
Just so you know, its not just a simple swap of a couple gears. If it was me, I would go to a gear shop and have it done. I got a quote not long ago to swap to 4:10's for $375 ( I think it was ), and this included the install kit and labor. I didnt go with it, because I didnt want to drop the gas milage.
