All the intake bolts should still be the same even on the different year models... All sensors should also be the same for both throttle bodies... I have been told by few on here that you will have a slight bogging when you stomp on it due to excess air??? Not sure about that one... But it should bolt right up ;))

Yes the TB will fit and everything will bolt right
up.

For your 96 any 96 or newer 318 360 TB will work

A few trucks not many do experiance a very small
loss just off idle but that is usualy do to not
having everythig working right in the first place
is what I have found.

Even on those few trucks the gains above 2000 rpm
more than make up for the very small loss. Most
stay the same but gain 2000 and up

Just use all the sensors off your V6 body because
you know they are ok.

The cable you will just have to wait and see the
V8 bodys have a plastic cam that the cable rides
in and gives you a more agresive reaction when
the throttle is pushed down.

Its a great mod just give it a few hundred miles
to tune in and its very noticeable 15 to 18 hp at
the rear wheels is the average gain.

The stock V6 body 40 to 44mm with the torque step
flows 400 to 535 depending on which you have, the
stock V8 48mm step flows 635.

My F&B flows 660 cfm

Oh ya after you get it bolted on just start the
truck and let idle for a few min's than shut off
restart and let idle again and shut off, now
restart and drive away, after that every time you
drive it for the next 2 to 300 miles it will seam
a little better every time.

You do not need to do a hard reset unles you get
a mil light or have an idle problem.
