My 1993 Dakota V6's speedometer stopped working and it trys to shut off (sometimes it shuts off) when I press the clutch in and starts to slow down. It just quits pretty much everytime I try to slow down. Anyone knows what is up. It has 136,000 miles on it.

As far as your speedometer not working, it sounds like your speed sensor may have come loose. It's hooked up on the tranny if you wanna check.

Well when my speedo went out on my '99 it was the rear
wheel speed sensor. It's located on top of the differential
housing. Wrench off and replace for about $40.
