I am sure I have seen this topic before but for some reason when I go to search for it, nothing shows up...
Can the K&N Gen II FIPK for the V-8s be used for the V-6? I was on K&N's site and basically they only have the Gen II for the V-8.
Just wondering, thanks for any replies,

mine fit different than in your picture....the shield is the other way around.....did you do that to make it fit better?

I contacted K&N in regards to the lack of the 3.9L FIPK. They informed me that they are currently working on a 3.9L solution that should be out in 60-90 days. Keep checkin their website.

The only thing I changed was the saddle bracket, the kit calls for it to go to the front side of the tube, but it rubs the AC hose, I put mine on the back side.
maybe you have the #1509 kit?
the #1517 just came out last year, it has the brackets to relocate the cruise control that may be why it looks different. From what I gather on the site here Dodge must have moved the CC around the 99-00 year that is why some have trouble getting the #1509 kit to work for them.
