97 sport 3.9 engine running ruff. I took it to autozone and they scanned it and found the #5 cylinder misfiring. What should I do first?

Is the # 5 cylinder the back right cylinder when standing in front looking toward the cab?

I have been working for a friend who owns his own shos as a mechanic for my winter break and I have fixed 2 vehicals with some deciantly bad misfires. First make sure that the cylinder is even getting spark. You can do this by unplugging the spark plug wire from the distrubetor and see is it sparks. If it does that you know that you most probaly have a bad plug. But if your going to replace one plug, why not replace them all. If that doesn't work put new wires in, than try cleaning the pick-up points on the distributer, replace the rotor button(or clean it). If none of that works than try cleaning the fuel injectors, clean out the throttle body. By this point is nothing has worked, but your tail between your legs and take it to a shop. If your from Georgia you can always swing it by DMA Automotive, tell them Steve sent you. Sorry, some self promotion never hurt.
