Subject: Will the dealer replace all recalls
IP: Logged

Message:
My question is: If I have something wrong with my truck, and I look it up on AllDATA.com, will the dealer be required to fix it. How about the Technical Service Bulletins? Does it have to still be under warranty

Thanx

Depends on your warrantee, on your 93 did'nt they
have the 100,000 drivetrain don't remember the
length in years.

Than they went to 7/70,000

on the 93 your out of luck over 10 years old now

Dealers are NEVER required to fix a TSB. A TSB is simply a notification to the dealer that a certain item or procedure has changed.

Recalls, OTOH, are issued by the NHTSB, NOT THE MANUFACTURER, and the dealer MUST comply with the recall or they can be charged criminally.
